Up for sale is a rare 1888A French Indo China 1 PIASTRE coin made of .900 silver and weighing 27g. This beautifully toned gold coin is a key date for collectors and features great details. Its country of manufacture is Vietnam, and the designer is the renowned sculpturer Barre.  It is circulated, its grade is ungraded. The coin comes without certification. This came from an estate sale. I have collected U.S. coins for over 60 years, and the following description is my opinion only. Obverse.... Full sharp date. All details in dress, face, flame, and holder sharp and clear. Rims show detail. All lettering sharp. Reverse... Die Crack, shown in photos. Rim shows detail. Wreath has full details. The I & A in Piastre are wealky struck. They are definitely not worn. Beautiful reeded
