Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Jules Verne Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been regularly used over the years, so there are some usage marks, including a small chip in the lacquer on the barrel - overall though it's presented in good condition. Only 18500 were produced and this is number 17857.
Launched in 2003, as the yearly offering for the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Jules Verne is one of the most iconic and recognisable releases in the series.
With its shimmering blue lacquered finish, complete with wave inspired guilloche design. The trim is platinum-coated. The pen is based on his most famous novel "Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea".
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib, which features an engraving of a divers helmet. It’s a piston filling pen, so your choice here is bottled ink.
