This listing is for an uprated lift pump spring for the Mercedes OM602/3/5/6 engines. It may work with Ssangyong copies of these engines or other inline pumped Merc engines but you would need to message me with accurate measurements of the spring to be sure.

It is a direct replacement for the stock lift pump spring but is twice as powerful which will result in significantly higher fuel flow.

Benefits include;

-Longer filter life

-More fuel/ higher pump gallery pressure available for high power applications

-Much improved ability to pump higher viscosity fuels such as vegetable oil and biodiesel

It can be fitted to an otherwise standard lift pump quite quickly and easily however please make sure the O rings in the lift pump cylinder cap are intact as well as all other fuel lines and O-rings.

This is a high quality, custom wound well engineered spring which has a life expectancy of full cycles (the spring only does full cycles when priming and for a few seconds upon initial start-up when building pressure) in the 10million+ range on the Goodman diagram which is generally considered to be a spring with potentially infinite life.
