This is an old Beauty that feels nice to hold; would make an excellent fancy SCOOP if you chose to repurpose it from the original intended wine tasting duty

Silver plating is lusterous but worn, you can see the brass base gleaming through, especially on the high spots where the silver has been polished away over the years

I have not handled one of these before, really interesting 3-D ridges and bumps in the bottom of the cup, to see the movement and help aerate I suppose...some of the bumps are "innies" and some are "outies". There must be a just-so technique of swirling the riight amount of wine and observing how it fills and spills from the textured bumps and indents

Measures about 2 3/4" across the bowl (3 7/8" including the thumb-rest) and about 3/4" deep
