Replacement bushes are very hard to come by and old worn bushes result in a sloppy feeling gear change.

Generally vehicle with a PG1 gearbox have 1.8, 2.0 and 2.5 engines driving them. Smaller engines such as 1.4, 1.6 are not compatible.
