Description

This is a nice, lightly circulated, "Ten Dollars" note from the "Reserve Bank of New Zealand". These were printed on paper in 1992 but this polymer version is the first plastic one and is dated 1999. Similar notes were made in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2013.
 
It shows Katherine Wilson Sheppard who lived from 1848 until 1934. She was the most prominent member of the women's suffrage movement in New Zealand and the country's most famous suffragist.

The Blue Ducks, called Whio, or (Hymenolaimus malacorhynchos) are a critically endangered species of small, flightless diving ducks with blue-grey plumage and white markings. They live in fast-flowing rivers and streams in remote areas of New Zealand.
 
The Note: A moderately circulated example. It has been folded but has no edge or body tears and no holes. It will be sent in a new currency holder that protects it. As grading is subjective, please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
