Description
This is a moderately circulated, but still presentable “100 Kroner” note from the “Kingdom of Denmark”. With prefix A7 this one was issued in 2001.
Pictured on the note is Carl August Nielsen, a renowned Danish composer who lived from 1865 until 1931. He was an important figure in Danish music, known for his innovative symphonic works, operas, and chamber music. He significantly influenced future generations of composers and remains a treasured national icon in Denmark.
Denmark still uses the Krone as its currency unit and does not use the Euro, having opted out from participation under the Maastricht Treaty of 1992. In 2000, the government held a referendum on introducing the euro, it was defeated. Today this 100 Kroner note would exchange for just under Fifteen Dollars.
