Manufactured in Italy by an unknown manufacturer, probably made in early 1900s.   These tailor shears were part of a privately owned collection obtained from a 94 year old 3rd generation tailor in the garment district of New York City.  Many of the items I am placing for sale were owned by this gentleman's grandfather and father and exhibited in a display in their shop for customers to enjoy.  Each piece offered for sale is a testament to the craftsmanship and ingenuity of American toolmakers and are a perfect addition for any collector.  They are ideal for cutting fabrics and textiles and especially ideal for those who are seeking a functional pair of shears / scissors with a historical twist and value owning a piece of history.

5 inch blades, 10 inches overall.   The cutting edge is exceptional and the shear works perfectly.  They are in their original state and have not been modified.
