TERMS AND CONDITIONS

McGinty's Auto Parts hereby warrants to the purchaser that all parts are serviceable and functional. If a part is found to be defective within 90 days from date of purchase, McGinty's Auto Parts shall at its discretion provide either a replacement or a refund. Parts not defective, which are returned for whatever reason, are subject to a 25% restocking charge. If the part involves shipping the original freight will NOT be refunded and the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

    1) Any defective parts must be returned in the same condition in which they were shipped for inspection. Any defective part returns require an itemized          copy of the reciept from the installer. NO REFUNDS will be issued until the part has been returned and inspected and a receipt from installation provided.

    2)     All parts are marked by McGinty's Auto Parts. Any returned part without a mark or with an altered mark will not be considered for warranty. 

3)     No reimbursements will be given for delay, labor, mileage, or any other costs pertaining to the installation or reinstallation of a part. 

4)     No refunds on electronic parts, all sales of electronic parts are final.

5)   McGinty's Auto Parts will not be responsible for any parts which have been altered, modified, disassembled, or damaged by misuse or accident subsequent to purchase. All parts are guaranteed for stock installation only.

6)   When buyer originally paid by check, and a refund is to be given, refunds will be paid by check in 5 working days from the date the return occurred.

7)   McGinty's Auto Parts reserves the right to inspect/diagnose any parts in the vehicle. Removing any part without prior consent voids any warranty.

POWERTRAIN SPECIFIC

1) WARRANTIES VOID IF: Seals/Filters/Gaskets not replaced, oil pumps not replaced, and/or timing chain/belt not replaced. This includes (but is not limited to) front/rear main seals, pump seals and axle seals.

2) Motors are guaranteed not to have cracked blocks and heads are guaranteed not to be cracked. Transmissions, transaxles, and differentials are guaranteed to work properly.

3) Motors and cylinder heads have heat tabs installed on them. If the center of the heat tab is melted out, the guarantee is voided.

4) Motors are sold as long block assemblies only.  Wiring harnesses, exhaust manifolds, intake manifolds, water pumps, fuel injection systems, flywheels and oil pans are NOT covered under any warranty.

5) External electronics including, but not limited to, wiring harnesses, speed sensors, solenoids, temp. and pressure sensors are excluded from any warranty.

6) Any reprogramming, quicklearning or flashing of any electrical components is specifically the responsibility of the buyer/installer.  McGinty's Auto Parts assumes no liability as this is part of a proper install.

7) Transmissions require the installation of a new radiator and/or transmission cooler.
