This relay switch allows you to control lights, accessories, uncouplers, signals, motors, AC circuits. Use it anywhere you’d use an on/off switch.
From the manufacturer:
"Relays are real switches. They’re fully isolated which makes them ideal to control track power, high voltage or high current circuits, lighting, and signals.
These Real-Switch Relay Bases come with two relay switches, each with 10 amp rated contacts, and a place to plug in a Touch Toggle to control each relay.
All of these relays have “double throw” action, meaning that contacts connect to one circuit when the relay is powered, and another when it is not; You will usually only need to use one side contact or the other. Each set of contacts have large screw-tight terminal blocks that are removable for easy wiring. These terminals accept 14-22 gauge wires to connect to each set of “SPDT” relay contacts."
Note that this item requires a 12 volt power supply. The cool thing is you can hook up several of these bases to the power supply when you have them hooked together in tandem. The power plug you need is 2.1mm ID, 5.5mm OD plugs (2.5mm ID will work as well). The older rectified power packs do not work with these boards--you need a plug in adapter with these specs.
CONDITION: C-8 used but clean. With instructions. No packaging.

We do accept returns within 30 days. Unless there was an error on our end, return shipping is paid by the buyer and the price of the item is refunded upon receipt of iback at Lone Star Trains. If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
