Vintage Cybis Cordey porcelain Asian Baroque figurine of a beautiful woman in a hat w flowers. Very colorful, elaborate, and detailed with tiered dress-coat and gold lettering. This figurine was made in the early 1940’s, based on the numbers written on the bottom. The 5071 refers to the mould number. 5071 and 5072 were called “Chinese Coquette,” though this is the only 5071 Cordey figurine I could find anywhere. It appears to be extremely rare & the 5072 was already nearly impossible to find. I believe 164 is the date reference code, but that would make this figurine one of the first, as the 200’s are widely viewed as the earliest available.

I don’t believe there are any chips or damage, but I did include a closeup picture of the sleeve by the figurine’s right hand. It appears to have been made with a sight gap in one spot. I don’t believe it’s a chip, but I would be happy to send more pictures and even a video if it helps. If you happen to know any more details, please feel free to tell me. Thanks for looking!
