SUPERB 1/9 PLATE AMBROTYPE - GIRL & KITTEN - CAT - SHARP FOCUS & IN FULL CASE - The young girl proudly displayed her tiny kitten on her lap in this wonderfully sharp ninth plate ambrotype. Judging by the maturity of the girl, you can easily imagine her growing up loving her cats the rest of her life, can't you? CONDITION: Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of this cased images and as part of my description. The ninth plate ambrotype has excellent contrast, tonal range and superb sharpness for a image of a kitten. A nice hint of warm toned color was applied to her face. There are some soft wipes on the plate that are hard to see unless magnified. The case has some normal wear, but hinge remains intact as well as the latch system. There is a red velvet pillow is opposite of these two felines likenesses. I will carefully ship this item to the winning bidder. Winner will select their choice of shipping at checkout.
