This is a set of pre WWII issue American Optical Airways flying goggles. Excellent overall condition. Frames are clean and straight.  Goggle strap is original and has lost some of the elasticity. Center bridge screw is A.O. marked. Two piece cushions are originals and in excellent condition. NO dry rot or separation from the frames. This set of goggles comes in the original dome shaped aluminum carrying case.. Top of case in bold letters reads, “AVIATOR’S GOGGLES” “AMERICAN OPTICAL COMPANY”.
