POSTER STAMPS HUMORISTIC HUMANOID ANIMALS MONKEY LION BEAR DOG ELEPHANT PETER

 

This is an amusing and  marvellous set of 12 cinderella stamps edited by Swiss firm Chocolat Peter. The set represents series n.6 from a limited series of 20 different topics (viz ; animals, flowers, monuments, etc) published by Peter in the early 1920’s.

The stamps were inserted inside the chocolate plates between the wrapper and the aluminium foil for children to collect them.

The collection is complete which add to the extreme difficulty of having all of them stay together after almost a century of age. The stamps are made of thin paper with dimension 1.6 x 2.2 inches with front text in French and no text in the rear.

This article is in good conditions as illustrated in the picture shown.
