Venetian edition of 1569 and 1581 of a part of Corpus Iuris Civilis. We have the three tomes of Pandette (different editions) and the first tome of Constitutiones.
Two folded plates of egenalogical tree in the first tome (Arbor Iurisdictionum, Arbor Servitutum (restaurations and lackings)) .
The work is divided as it follows: the first and third tome is the edition of 1575 (Venezia, Francesco de franceschi, Gaspare Bindoni il Vecchio, Eredi di Niccolò Bevilacqua, Damiano Zenaro) of Digesta. The title page of third tome lacks. The second tome is the edition of 1581 of Digesto (Venezia, Pietro Dehuchino).
We only have the first tome of Constitutiones (Venezia, Pietro Dehuchino 1581, uncomplete: first tome only containing the first 9 tomes)).
Comment by Francesco Accursio (Bagnolo 1185- Bologna 1263) juresconsult, notes and teacher of right near the Studio di Bologna e Antonio Persio (1542-1612).
In good conditions.
Half leather cover with gilted title in the spine in good conditions lightly worn in the extremities. Binding in good conditions. Inside pages are in good conditions with occasional foxing. Marbled edges.First tome: reinforcement in the edges in the first six pages, in pag. 671 with light loss of text. Second tome: reinforcement in the title page, Sign of burning in the upper right corner of pp. from 1381 to the end with relating loss of numbers of pages. Constitutiones: reinforcment in the edges of the first 8 pages, pag. 1477, last page of index and register (that has been bound in the end of initial index). In 4. Dim. 24x17,5 cm. Pp.
