This vintage or antique silver tone oval mirrored compact case is embossed with the figures of Bernadette and Our lady of Lourdes on the top. The rest of the case is further adorned in  an art nouveau style IMO.  The case passed a test for silver but it could just be  heavy plating.   It does have a lovely silver tone and there is a tiny makers mark inside the rim..  Inside, the Lourdes rosary reads "De N D de Lourdes Souvenir"   which is French , so it could be from France.  The oblong case is  1 7/8 inches by  1 3/8 inches by

1/2 inch thick.  The dainty rosary is made with garnet red faceted crystals and is  15 inches long including the 1 inch crucifix.  It is as sweet as they come and in excellent vintage condition.
