For the Dream Pen Raden, we carefully selected abalone from the Sea of Japan and used only the part of the nacreous layer with iridescent luster cut out of the abalone.
It took one to two years to complete the work.
The Dream Pen Raden Maki-e Sun Pillar is inspired by the sun pillar, one of the ""atmospheric optical phenomena"".
