| Batman #10 - POOR 0.5. So...this is a hard one to grade. Decades ago, some owner decided that the book was in such rough shape, they wanted to tape it together so it didn't fall apart more. But in the process, and to make the tape "stick better", it looks like they trimmed the left edge of the cover. Is that "restoration"? Dunno. It wasn't done to improve the book's appearance, that's for sure. That said, the book is complete, front to back, the back cover and front cover are, of course, completely split, but there nonetheless, as are all pages. Though it has to be handled with care, it's not falling to pieces, and if you set aside the front and back covers, the book can be handled fairly confidently. All the tape has long since dried up and long gone, with only the tape stains remaining. Absolute classic...more to come... UPDATE: So, it's been brought to my attention that this is the wrong back cover. Interestingly enough, the tape stains match front to back, so apparently, the original owner, after the cover fell apart, just grabbed any old back cover and taped it back on. So, sadly, I'll have to call this a POOR 0.5 with no back cover. That said, I'll include the back cover, if it's of use to somebody who can match it to the right book(s). Again, however, the front cover and all interior pages are there.
