This is a link to a very interesting article that just came out about Marilyn:

Selling my extremely rare original Norma Jeane Marilyn Monroe photograph taken by Andre De Dienes in 1945 during their road trip together across California and into Oregon. Here she is in a rare wagon wheel pose. One can see how genuinely happy she was and she looks to be in movement. One can also get a really good look at her wedding ring from her first husband. Also, “GAP” used a photo of a Marilyn in their ad saying “Marilyn wears Khaki’s too…” Very historical with the neat old wagon wheels. Absolutely stunning. Excellent condition. Size 8x10. Produced with Andre’s permission in the 1980’s for Jerry Ohlingers collection. Produced from the original negative or transparency.

Note: I have another photo of Marilyn on the wagon wheel (different pose) listed now, if you’re interested.
