Product and Service Quality

We provide a premium service for all of our customers; all shipments are sent fully tracked with the Royal Mail Premium Service Tracked 48 or Royal Mail Tracked International. The only exception is if the package is greater than 61cm x 46cm x 46cm however, we will never supply anything that is not fully tracked or on a standard service whether that be in the UK or Internationally. You can rest assured that when you place your order with us you will be notified every step of the way of its progress from despatch to receipt by you. International Customers should be aware however of delays that may occur outside of our control with local customs. Also, local taxes and duties may be required to be payable on receipt by the buyer dependant on the country that you reside in and this could delay receipt of the item if not settled promptly.

We quality check, wash and sanitize all items prior to dispatch. We only supply genuine original new or used items, whilst there may be some signs of minor wear and tear this should not affect the overall quality and usability of the item. If there is an imperfection that could compromise this we will do our very best to highlight in the description or with photos. For all of our toys always be sure to check our high-resolution photos carefully as this is where you will see any minor imperfections. Sometimes, our items are supplied with missing pieces and differ to the original item when it was new. This will be highlighted clearly in the photos and may not always be confirmed in the description. What you see in the photo is what you will receive for all toys. Many spare parts will not be individually photographed due to the volume that we hold in stock however, our quality procedures ensure high quality spare parts are always supplied. Where the part is a One Off we will photograph the exact item. If in doubt please reach out to us for clarification.

Original packaging should be assumed missing however, where original packaging is of good quality and available this will be highlighted in the description and provided. Instructions may not be present or incomplete.

In the event that you are not satisfied with the product supplied please contact us and we will make our very best attempt at resolving the problem.

Some items such as white pieces of Gravitrax and more vintage pieces of white Lego can suffer some discolouration due to exposure to ultra-violet light. We do not supply pieces that are very discoloured, but you can expect a small level of discolouration in older white pieces as an example, especially vintage pieces.

However, as with any pre-owned items, especially older vintage items it is essential to exercise caution.

Please be advised that these toys have been previously owned and may exhibit signs of wear. We strongly recommend inspecting each item thoroughly before use, especially for small parts that could pose a choking hazard. Additionally, parental supervision is crucial during playtime to ensure a secure environment.

Talk2Tom Retail Limited cannot guarantee the history of each individual item, and it is the responsibility of the buyer to assess the suitability and safety of the product for their intended use. By purchasing used toys from us, you acknowledge and accept these considerations.

Postage and Packing

Within the United Kingdom we provide a free fully tracked shipping service through Royal Mail Tracked 48 and for a small surcharge we can upgrade to a faster service depending on the item.

We offer Tracked 24 or next day by 1pm services on all spare parts for a small surcharge within the United Kingdom.

The item will  usually be shipped in a new Jiffy or plastic mailing bag and sent usually as a Royal Mail fully tracked 'Large Letter' or 'Small to Medium Parcel' format package.

If the item that you purchase is greater than 61cm x 46cm x 46cm we will ship with another tracked courier service . We never ship items on a service that isn?t fully tracked. For larger or fragile items, we will ship in a cardboard box with internal bubble wrap, additional padding or paper.

Your item will usually be dispatched same day before 1pm Monday to Friday, 9am on Saturday or next day if the cut off time is missed. We will always add tracking to the item once despatched. We ship Monday to Saturday.

Returns

Our premium service Guarantee should keep the need to return an item to a minimum however, in the instance that something doesn't quite go to plan we offer a no-quibble refund on all of our items Internationally. Check our market leading returns policy.
