For your consideration, Dr4 Watches has on offer a rare Alpina Avalanche Regulator fine timepiece with box and papers.  This is one cool modern timepiece that just "looks the business" on the wrist.  Alpina has done a fantastic job capturing the hearts and eyes of both individuals who are into watches and also rebels who like a modern, mechanical and functionally interesting timepiece.

And all Alpina watches are not created equal.  Avalanche references are among the most collectible and appreciated in the Alpina line-up.  This particular reference, with the Regulator mechanical manual wind movement, is particularly notable and outstanding.

Of course we are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity.

We are extremely thorough in our listings and we still absolutely encourage questions regarding the timepieces.  If you have questions regarding the specifications, provenance, history, etc., no problem.  Just ask if you have a question!

We only deal in 100% real watches because reputation is critical for us and in this industry in particular.  We always have the inventory in our possession.  We do not do the broker thing.

The condition of this watch is as follows:  Pre-owned in excellent condition.  I would rate this cool timepiece at 96%.  This is one that I will rotate in wearing as part of a 20+ fine timepiece collection.  As such, it will likely get worn about one time a month by me.  Since it goes so well with my dark jeans, t-shirt and biker jacket "looks" that I like... so I am in no hurry to sell this one!

Because we only want timepiece customers who are delighted with their purchase, we strive to add some additional insight to help you make a great timepiece decision.

With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch include:

1.     This watch is large at 44mm and works well on medium to large wrists.  It brings a modern oversized look and I can recommend this watch for somebody with a wrist size of 6+3/4 inches in circumference and larger.  I have an average size wrist and this watch works well on my wrist.

2.     This is peculiar watch that makes a modern oversized elegant kind of statement.  This watch is made for bad-boys, rebels, night-clubers, pirates and cargo pilots... and the very best bars and restaurants in your city.

3.  The watch is comfortable and the straps can handle up to about an 8" wrist size.  Tough to beat the comfort of this one for a modern oversized watch.  It holds very well on the wrist which is great because the watch definitely feels substantial and high-quality with significant weight on the wrist.

4.  Highlights on this one include the vertically striated jet black dial and the gold color accents.  Bad-boy, bad-boy, what you gonna do?  This one is striking.

5.  As cool looking as this one is, the regulator set-up --- which places a premium on knowing the minutes --- is refereshingly different, a true conversation magnet and suprisingly helpful once the wearer adjusts their mental mode to this set-up.

6.  Underpinning this front-side stunner is a high-quality, Swiss Made, manual wind movement.  And the exhibition case-back allows you to see the mechanical marvel.  I particularly like the modern industrial silver, black and gold colors integrated in the movement.  As a manual wind movement, you get to interact with the timepiece in your daily life (e.g., wind it about 20 half-turns before you wear it, set the minutes and hours before you go out the door with it).  And of course, a manual wind movement allows for a thinner timepiece --- all the better to slip under a cool jacket or clubbing shirt.

7.   Rounding our the listing is the boxing and paperwork that you see in the "everything photo."  Booklet, ownership card, certificate of authenticity, tag, boxing and instructional manual.

This one is really quite rare and a wonderful addition to a watch collection that is lacking a manual wind or regulator set-up.  A thinking man's bad-boy pilot watch.

We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you).  Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside).  In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation.  We should always be the first port-of-call if there is an issue.  100% delighted customers so far and we aim to keep it that way.

Please examine the pictures, what you see is what you get.  The only exception is the English Bull Dog which we put in our group shots because we think it looks great.  The Bull Dog is a James Bond tie-in and we kind of really like James Bond.

And finally, we are an Atlanta based business but we also operate out of North Florida (some inventory in both places) as I like to include my brother in the business some.

We sell only within the Continental United States.

Thank you for your consideration,

Steve
