Alfred & Vincent  was contacted numerous times to seek a replacement or refund, and their customer service is only available via email, and they do not respond reliably.

Full story behind these earrings:

I bought a pair of earrings from Alfred & Vincent online as a gift for my wife. They were ordered on 12/8/22 and I contacted Alfred & Vincent via their Contact Us page on 12/27/22 - which was within their 30-Day Guarantee. I asked to exchange them for a larger size, exchanging the 3 mm for 6 mm, and I paid the difference in cost. (Total was $57.19 including original order of $47.29 and additional cost of $9.90 for the upgrade to 6 mm.) I received the 6 mm earrings around the end of January 2023.

My wife wore them a few times and in April 2023 one of them broke!  The stone came right off the post!  She was extremely disappointed as she had always wanted a pair.  I contacted them numerous times to see if I could get a replacement or refund.

Emails were sent to Alfred & Vincent on 4/24/23 and 6/20/23, their Contact Us page was used on 5/2/23, 5/30/23 and on 6/20/23, and Facebook message was used on 6/24/23. They did not respond to me.

My wife tried contacting Alfred & Vincent by email and then contacted Alfred & Vincent a second time on July 6, 2023 and Alfred & Vincent finally responded.

Alfred & Vincent's response claimed they replaced the first set of earrings that were broken even though it was past the 30 day guarantee period. That was totally untrue - they weren't broken and they were contacted within the 30 days.

Alfred & Vincent said they could not account for "wear and tear".

We told them that we understood that they have to quantify their guarantee with a calendar day limit, like 30 days, but asked them to understand that the same earrings are not worn every day. In usage terms, these earrings were only used 3 days. They were put on in the morning and removed at night only 3 times. Wear and tear would be minimal, especially since they were mostly sitting in the box most of the time.

We are selling these earrings, as is, for $57.19 with free shipping plus $50 to cover eBay fees, our shipping cost and our aggravation with Alfred & Vincent, to anyone interested so that we can recover our cost and then some.
