POSTER STAMPS FAMOUS CATHEDRALS NOTRE-DAME DE PARIS CHARTRES AMIENS LAUSANNE STAINED GLASS NESTLE

This is a marvellous set of 7 poster stamps edited by Swiss firm Nestlé-Peter-Cailler-Kohler Chocolate. The set belongs to the series Sciences, Discoveries & Explorations edited in the 1950s and represents series n.88 which theme is about famous cathedrals.

The collection is complete which add to the extreme difficulty of having all of them stay together after all this time. The stamps are made of thin paper with dimension 4.7 x 4.5 inches for the superbe big one and 1.6 x 2.2 inches for the smalls. Traces of difficult readable text on the back by Nestlé.

The stamps from left to right and from top to bottom:

Notre-Dame de Paris – Cathédrale de Chartres – Cathédrale d’Amiens – Les tailleurs de pierres ( vitrail, Chartres) – Statutes (cathédrale de Chartres) – Cathédrale de Lausanne: statues du portail – Cathédrale de Lausanne: vitrail de la Vierge.

This article is in good conditions as illustrated in the picture shown.
