The Europa set of 1961 featured peace doves, the C.E.P.T. emblem, and the Dorothy Wilding portrait of the Queen.

Representatives of 19 countries of the European Postal and Telecommunications adminstations met at Torquay on 11th September for their second anniversary conference.

This was the first set of British stamps printed in three colours.
