RARE Yves Saint Laurent Boutique Signature Fabric from the 1970's, 3+ yds

New fabric remnant, Yves Saint Laurent signature fabric. Printed area of fabric about 60"x 112-1/4"; less selvage areas about 58-1/2" x 112-1/4". The black border is nearly 23" wide.

The only thing I could find about Yves Saint Laurent fabrics is that in 1969 or 1970, Yves Saint Laurent Fabric Boutiques were established in department stores. You can find an interesting blog about this by doing an internet search.

I don't know what kind of material it is, it appears to be a polyester knit which was popular at the time, it has a bit of stretch to it, and I recognize that look of fabric type from the era.

I believe this fabric is from the days of the boutique. If you know anything different, I'm happy to hear it.
