This power cord has 14 gage solid copper strand wire (not copper clad aluminum). Overall length is 7 feet 3 inches. One end has a cigarette lighter power Male plug with built in 20 amp glass barrel tube fuse. The ON /OFF switch is a rocker type switch mounted at approximately the half way point along the wire. The other end of the cord has a molded 2 pin SAE automotive quick disconnect with the red (positive) lead shrouded and the black (negative) lead exposed. This configuration is the common placement for the power supplying wire end. If the device you are powering is reversed then you will need to find a polarity reverse block to place in line. (This is rare but the blocks are easily found online).
