Attention: Important information about installing a turbocharger:

＆ In order to avoid installation errors, APM recommends only having the goods installed by a specialist workshop.

＆ Make sure that the cause of the malfunction and damage to the old turbocharger has been eliminated.

＆ Before installation begins, the following parts in the area around the turbocharger must be checked for contamination and tightness.

＆ catalyst

＆ Engine ventilation

＆ Outflow and supply lines on the turbocharger

＆ possibly soot particle filter

＆ Engine oil, oil filter and air filter must be replaced when changing the turbocharger. The turbocharger must be completely filled with clean engine oil before attaching the oil supply line through the oil inlet hole.

＆ The oil lines to the turbocharger as well as all flange and connection seals must also be replaced. For some makes, the intercooler must also be replaced in accordance with the installation instructions. Liquid sealants must never be used.

＆ After commissioning, check all air, gas and oil lines for leaks.

＆ The intake and exhaust air system as well as the intercooler must be cleaned. It must be ensured that the system is free of chips, dirt, corrosion, oil and other foreign bodies or substances.

＆ After installing the turbocharger, the engine should be restarted. Then let the engine idle for 30 seconds before loading it.

We would like to point out that warranty and/or liability claims against APM Autoteile GmbH cannot be considered if turbochargers are installed without observing the above assembly instructions and this alone causes damage.
