This is an original 1958 Les Paul Jr. guitar signed by none other than Les Paul

I think the condition is fairly good for it's age. Yes there is wear, scratches, missing a string

I am not the original owner and do not know the history like any repairs or if anything was changed

I did hook it up to an amp and there is sound. Can't say if it was good sound as the amp was pretty bad and the strings are loose but the electronics appear to be working

If you use any of the websites out there for dating guitars it seems to come up as a 62,63, or 64 so I contacted Gibson who confirms this guitar as a 1958 and a picture of that email is shown

As far as the signature, it is not certified. The only provenance of the signature is the concert tickets when it was signed

I do not see any obvious cracks, neck look good

Fretboard shows wear, grooves from being played what looks like a lot 

Back has many scratches
