This coin depicts the famous Red Tail P-51 Mustang Fighter of the Tuskegee Airman who's bomber escorts in WWII  amazingly did not allow one bomber to be shot down during their missions.  On the backside is has a fighter and bomber used by the Tuskegee Airmen.

The coin outer labeling has the 99th, 100th, 301st, 302nd, Fighters Squadrons and the 332nd Fighter Group. Also, includes 96th Services Group and the 44th Bomber Group. 

The coin is 2 inches in diameter.
