We have here a Partscaster Strat that was primarily put together by my 14 year old son as his first parts guitar, under my supervision. The final setup, fret leveling and dressing, and electronics were done professionally by Fat Cat Custom Guitars in Elgin, IL. While there are some things that are not perfect, it is 100% functional and plays and sounds great. The action is quite low, 2.25mm at the 12th fret and 2.5mm at the 22nd fret. It has Dimarzio Area noiseless Strat pickups, semi-custom switching via a 5-way super switch and excellent hardware components. It also features a gorgeous metallic blue finish, roasted swamp ash body and maple neck. The parts are from different manufacturers, which is detailed below. There is a Warmoth decal on the headstock mainly because we didn't want to leave it blank, but the only component on this guitar that is from Warmoth is the pickguard. You can easily remove the decal if you wish.

The only minor "issues" with this guitar are related to some of the drilling when we where drilling and mounting the bridge and pickguard. While none are visible when fully assembled, some of the paint and gloss top coat chipped away while drilling/screwing some of the pickguard mounting screws. Again, none are visible when the pickguard is mounted. Also, when my son drilled the holes for the 6-screw Wilkinson tremolo, he used a drill press and didn't quite get the 6 holes perfectly aligned. As a result, the bridge isn't really usable as a tremolo since it binds due to the VERY slight misalignment of the 6 mounting screws. So we just decked it and it is essentially a fixed bridge. Intonation was not affected and the bridge is quite nice and comfortable. Lastly, due to the way the string holes are positioned on the Wilkinson tremolo block, we had to dremel the opening in the tremolo cover so that all 6 holes were accessible, while still aligning the cover over the tremolo cavity.

Again, this guitar is 100% functional (apart from no actual tremolo functionality), plays and sounds great and is in excellent, near-mint condition. It has never really left our climate and humidity controlled basement (apart from going to the tech). My son and I have less than 10 hours of play time on it. I just want to be fully transparent on some of the minor things with this guitar. My son wants to start another partscaster project and he needs to sell this one first to generate funds.
