This is an Official NHL Game Puck commemorating the Oilers/Habs game of November 22, 2003 (Habs 4-3 over Oilers). During the 2003-2004 season, the NHL had several Vintage matchups. Both teams would wear throwback jerseys. This game in particular was dubbed the Heritage Classic: the first NHL game to be played outdoors.
Of note there were over 57000 in attendance at Commonwealth stadium with temperatures below minus 18 Celsius (around minus 10 F) The success of this game lead to the NHL scheduling more outdoor games. Definitely a rare, tough to get hockey puck. This puck comes complete with the original shipping container and lid.

Shipping to the US and Canada. I will combine auctions with other pucks.
Local pick ups are allowed (please contact me before bidding if you want to do a local pick up)
