Three silver medals commemorating the Apollo 11 moon mission made by the Franklin Mint and Lombardo Mint. Each piece has great flash and luster when tilted to the light with no dents or dings. 


FIRST STEP ON THE MOON - 32mm. 

Obverse depicts an Astronaut preparing to walk on the Moon. The reverse shows the Plaque that was left on the Moon and signed by U.S. President, Richard Nixon. Sterling Silver (.925) Pendant by Franklin Mint with wallet and COA, all in great condition. It is a limited edition issue and numbered 25406.


1971 AMERICANS LAND ON THE MOON - 39mm. 

Made for The American Heritage Medallic Treasury Of American History in limited edition by The Franklin Mint. It’s made of sterling silver (.925) with frosty proof and highly reflective surfaces. Great looking when rolled in the light but a couple toning spots near the date. 


APOLLO 11, AD ASTRA PER ASPERA - 39mm. 

Numbered “First On The Moon” Souvenir Medal by Lombardo Mint in .999 fine silver. Frosty proof with highly reflective surfaces and very flashy! The obverse shows portraits and names of the three crew members and says: APOLLO 11 - AD ASTRA PER ASPERA. Neil Armstrong’s nose has a bit of rub on it from flip storage and there is a wispy hairline at the bottom. The reverse shows the Lunar Module and Lunar Lander after separation, preparing it’s descent to the Moon’s surface below. It says: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - FIRST ON THE MOON. It has light golden toning over much of the Moon’s surface and is edge numbered 002091.
