Largely, as you see, an agricultural and forested area bisected by the Great Stour river.
A great many farms and estates are named.
The maps in this the second edition of Hasted's Kent were folded to fit into a smaller format book just 9x6 inches and so many folds, tucks and even snips off are found.
This particular map has an entire reconstructed left margin but it is cosmetically good and would frame beautifully. The surface is clean, no foxing, delicately hand -coloured.
