A an old Sangamo Weston ltd, radiation meter.

The case is bakelite measuring ~ 7 x 7.5 x 3 cm, with a mounting flange to the right.

On the face of the dial is written :-

RÖNTGENS / HOUR x 10 ^-4

There is a moving part of the dial connected to the rear lever that allows it to display one of the following :-

OFF

SET ZERO

0 1 2 3

On the back is the lever, and two electrical contact points, one marked with a red +, There is also a handwritten asset number.

On the top is a small glass window to allow illumination of the dial.

 

A rare little meter in good untested condition.
