This is a special laser pointer which emits at the unique yellow-green wavelength of 561nm.

561nm is an amazing yellow-green color, with the additional property of being a great color to use for star-pointing and astronomy! It’s the perfect wavelength to have a beam visible to our color vision without hindering our night vision.

It’s a truly stunning color to look at; it feels “strange” in ways few other laser wavelengths can match.

Since this is a DPSS laser, it has excellent beam specs, with great divergence.

Both high and low models are available. The low power model is perfect for presentations or indoor use, while the high power model is much brighter with a very visible beam. Let us know in your order notes which model you’d prefer.

Listing includes one 561nm laser and five diffraction “star” caps. Batteries are inserted with the negative side first!

Important note: The listing images are necessarily color-corrected to show the color of this laser accurately. There are essentially no cameras out there that can properly image the 561nm color - they will always pick it up as pure green. We have done our best to portray the color accurately!
