Keychain from the plane SU-35S, shot down by our troops.

These parts belonged to a Sukhoi Su-35S - a standard Russian Air Force fitted aircraft, with the 'S' meaning - 'Stroyevoy' (Combat). The aircraft was fighting Ukrainian Air Defence in Kherson Region, near the village of Shlyakhove and that was where it met its final fate and was shot down. Falling coordinates: 46°55'21.6"N 33°27'54.2"E

The serial number of the aircraft was established as 07614. Yet, the number does not come up in the internet search and remains unconfirmed by Fuselage Creations sources. This brings us to the conclusion that the aircraft was part of a batch delivered in the year of 2020 or later, making this aircraft one of the newest aircraft lost by russia in its war in Ukraine!

First footage of its wreckage appeared at the beginning of February 2023.

The Sukhoi Su-35 (NATO Reporting name: Flanker-M) is twin-engine, superma-neuverable fighter aircraft designed and built by Sukhoi Design Bureau. This aircraft was developed during the soviet times under the designator SU-27M.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia slowly managed to re-designate it as SU-35. Russia claims the aircraft to be 4++ generation with some elements from the 5th generation. According to the russian claims, Sukhoi has the following key elements: thrust-nozzle vectoring engines, great combat power, impressive flight range and high maneuverability speeds.

However, the Ukrainian Defence forces have proved that the belief about the most overhyped 4th generation aircraft in the world was exagerrated.
