KOYUDO KSZ-01 Powder Brush, Original Release Date September 2020, Kakishibuzome Series, Saikoho Goat, Made in Japan, New in Box

KOYUDO’s beautiful KSZ series features brushes made with luxurious Saikoho goat hair which has been dyed by a natural process known as Kakishibuzome. An ancient Japanese tradition passed down over a thousand years ago, the dye imbues the bristles with a dusky hue as well as natural antibacterial properties.

This magnificent large powder brush — now discontinued — is wonderful for applying setting, finishing and illuminating powders. Also excellent for bronzing, and for light to medium coverage of powder foundation. Great for sensitive skin, the brush is very soft, but the resiliency of the Saikoho goat hair allows for a glowing finish to the skin.

The wooden handle is made from mizume-sakura (cherry blossom wood).
