This is a superb and extremely expensive custom-made pair of 1940s era French Louis XV or Country French open arm bergere chairs. They are upholstered in natural cowhide and natural black leather. The chairs are in very good original condition and someone spent a fortune to have these upholstered. The cowhide has natural variations in color and shading that are not considered imperfections. They are sturdy and large and Measures 40.75 tall x 29.5 wide x 32.25 deep x seat height 20 inches and they date to the 1940s era.
