Perhaps the most significant of the numerous heroic missions took place on the eve of D-Day, when more than 1000 C-47s were involved in dropping paratroopers to areas behind the beachheads. This wonderfully reproduced hobbyist-quality jigsaw puzzle captures that spectacular image. This design is based on The MiniCrafts Collection’s original aviation painting of the C-47s on D-Day from their renowned collection of aviation artwork.  It consists of 1,000 Japanese style premium board pieces that interlock to complete the picture.  The finished puzzle measures 50cm x 70cm.
