For those of you who are following me for the Ivan Lendl estate sale thank you. We are doing great and am grateful for all the emails and questions. I have barely touched the surface of Ivan’s items. I have not even made it through one box of his playing day items. For your information I have both Muzuno and Adias items. I am actually going west to deliver some items for the Lendl’s but will continue to post as I have hired someone to help me grow my store a little. Back to the item.
These are game worn Muzuno shorts. After matches the shorts were put storage bags and kept by the family. Sadly we never know what match they were worn for exactly. He competed in these for sure. I am fairly confident based on pictures that these are from the 90-92 age range. There are some minor discoloration marks, I assume from use. There are no sizes on these as they were custom made for him. The tag even has his name on it. As many of you know he wore some amazing outfits during his days. I have both the shirts, shorts, jackets and wristbands. I know how lucky I am and am so grateful. I am selling these specifically for the Lendl’s. Samantha and Ivan are the best and I am so honored to be working with them on this.
There are no tears or snags. I certainly would not suggest you wear these. They should be framed or displayed. I suggest a picture of him in them and a frame together with the shorts. I assure you this is the real deal. I have the family’s blessing to mention them for authenticity.
