LARGE ART DECO 1930's PICTURE FRAME

The frame as you can see tilts both ways

To protect the identity of my Aunt & Uncle

I've changed the faces to have Michael Gove

Marrying a Super Model

The metal base has been made in the Art Deco style

The front has bevelled glass

It will take a picture that measures 10 inches wide x 14 inches high

The complete frame glass & metal weighs 2.5kg so its heavy

Maximum size measurements:

Width12 inches ( 303mm ) x 4.5 inches  ( 117mm ) 

Total height 15.75 inches ( 399mm )

Condition is commensurate with its age & use

The metalwork has an age related patina which could be left

Or the buyer may consider re chroming 

The base does need some felt pads to be added

Please view picture 18 it shows where a pin that is seen in picture 16 & 17

is missing...the pin is part of the locking mechanism....but I

feel it would be an easy fix....plus the frame is usable without it

Both pieces of glass are undamaged

Because the frame has glass back & front

+ the metalwork design is the same back & front

The frame is reversable & will take two pictures

Please note the backing glass is not bevelled

The frame will tilt both ways
