All transistors, except for outputs, have been replaced as well the diodes. Burnt in and  tested for 72 hours. Amplifier sounds incredible. Even at high listening volumes no fatigue. Substatial power. A lot of people don't know it but Carver incorporated high dampening factors for better driver control before the dampening factor was even a real consideration. You can actually hear the difference. This 400 is beautiful. Faceplate is virtually scratch free. If you are looking for a topshelf Phase Linear, look no further! This should not need anything for the next 30-40 years!!
