This beautiful Silver coin is the new issue in the "Commemorating Black History" series and celebrates an initiative organized by the local government in Amber Valley. The coin has Proof quality, has a beautiful design and comes in a case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of 5.500 pieces worldwide. The reverse of the coin shows people headed north to Canada, lured by the promise of land and guided by the hope of a better life free from racial violence. Arriving in Amber Valley (formerly Pine Creek), Alberta, the Black settlers worked hard to establish a thriving community, some 300 people strong, blazing a trail as they went and building a rich legacy through their achievements. the only inscription on the coin's reverse is "CANADA" - the issue country. The obverse of the coin features a repeating pattern of maple leaves and the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "D·G·REGINA" – the Latin acronym, "2024" – the year of issue and "20 DOLLARS" – the face value.
