Description: The Dugan Diamond Gass Company made this black glass comport compote about 1930. It is their distictive pattern Coin Spot.   Vertical channels of rectangular pattern could be described as thumbprint, zipper, stippled windows, grosgrain ribbon.  The channels continue into the stem ball joint where the stippled window pattern is repeated. The compote is about 4-3/8" high. Base is about 3-3/8" diameter. Ruffled top is about 6" diameter. No manufacturer markings. Dugan made this pattern in carnival glass, but I do not know if Dugan made it in black glass or if Dugan's successor Diamond Glass made this black glass variety.

Size:  The compote is about 4-3/8" high. Base is about 3-3/8" diameter. Ruffled top is about 6" diameter.

Condition: Vintage used glass. No cracks or chips.
