This cast iron pinking machine was manufactured in the early 1900s. Though this item is close to 100 years old, it still functions just as originally intended. There is a picture of cloth which was just cut by the machine.

The machine is embossed with “CLEAN CUT”. The device can be secured to the edge of a bench or table with a crank c-clamp. Cloth is cut by turning the hand crank which has wooden handle. When cloth is fed between the upper metal roller and the lower metal cutter, the cloth is then pinked.

An adjustment screw is located on the top of the machine which allows to control the pressure applied by the roller. The brass cloth table measures about 2 3/4” x 3”, and the clamp can accommodate up to just over 1”. This machine is in Good Condition. The metal is intact with no cracks, the crank works smoothly, and it cuts cloth cleanly.
