I'm a vintage tech.
I restored this years ago and have stashed it aside.

The bad.
The balance control was broken and I've looked around for years, no luck.
The balance control from a 1040 or 1070 is the same. Can't find those either.
I never use the balance control except in the center position.
Audiophiles tend to bypass balance controls on older gear. The less junk in the signal path the better type thing.
The balance control connects to the Mode function (Left, Right, Stereo, Reverse, Mono L+R). I don't know if that will work with the balance bypassed. I never use that feature either. It's always in Stereo.

There is supposed to be an inner cover over the controls.
That was missing or just not on this unit when I got it.

The good.
Works perfectly, beside no balance control.
All new electrolytic capacitors.
Very clean inside.
Face and knobs are nice, Lettering is all good.
Power light works.
Cover shows some age, A scratch on the back left area. More like a deep scuff.
Rear panel and all connectors are nice.

Retired and planning on moving so its time to pass some stash along.
