The item listed for sale is for an exceptionally rare , authentic , official Sporting ID / Lextra , Player Issue Size Name & Number Set relating to former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes who wore the number 18 on his shirt. Scholes played for Manchester United between 1993-2011 then 2012-2013 seasons an incredible period of 19 years.
I believe the style of letters and numbers were used by English Premier League clubs between the 2007-2008 to 2012-2013 seasons.
The letters and number are White with Black coloured border and finished in the velvet / felt type material.
Both the letters and numbers are supplied in the Player Issue size whereby the letters measure approximately 52mm in height whilst the shirt number is approximately 257mm in height.
The number is covered with authentic Lextra / Sporting ID protective film. The letters have been removed from preformatted name sets so the non required protective film is non applicable (This has no bearing on the application when using the correct heat paper albeit I can provide original protective film on request). Negligent Application Of Goods
The name and number set must be applied to a shirt via the correct certified heat transfer procedure, utilising the correct settings and applied via a fully trained heat press operator who has been certifiably trained by Sporting ID or similar. I accept no responsibility for any damage to the product, your shirt or both during a non certified application.
These products are authentic Sporting ID, Lextra, Chris Kay or Metro goods, therefore devoid of being defective. If for whatever reason a problem occurs during the application process I shall submit a report to the manufacturer on your behalf and will therefore require to know the time , date , location , name and occupation of the person carrying out the procedure. I shall require a photograph of the existing heat press servicing certificate and the make model and country of manufacture of the heat press used. I shall also require to know the heat, pressure, time and peeling process.
Court Proceedings On Fraudulent Claims.
Ebay is full of fraudsters or neanderthals who falsely claim the letters and numbers didn't stick correctly onto their shirt by idiotically guessing the application instructions regularly whilst using a household iron.
Having experienced dealings with all the usual thieves, liars and scammers in society I'm now taking all fraudsters to the small claims court to retrieve the purchase price, postage fees and court costs if the transaction is contested through eBay. I only sell authentic goods and will obtain a letter of certificate from the manufacturers to prove this to be the case. If you're a fraudster or neanderthal please buy from a seller who sells fake products and leave the honest sellers alone
