It has been read but remains in VG condition for a book that was printed 57 years ago. 

Cover shows some light handling wear. Expect to see small creases, bumps along the edges and corners, rubbing etc. 

There is a small closed tear on the fore edge of the front cover (see pictures). 

Spine has creases as well but binding is solid without any loose pages. 

Book shows some toning but is otherwise internally clean without any markings or inscriptions.
