A fabulous vintage dress from Sport Fashions Sydney:

* original from the 1960s or early 1970s

* navy polka dots

* sheer flowing fabric with burgundy lining - the burgundy colour shines through the sheer outer layer

* high cream collar with a bow in the centre

* cream cuffs with two buttons on each

* covered belt with a round covered buckle

* full flowing skirt 

* sleeves are unlined. 

Stunning vintage dress for work or parties.  Very good vintage condition - the colours in the lining are streaky but this is not apparent from the outside (please see the last photo) and there is a tiny faint mark in the centre of the bow (please see the second photo).

Labelled size 12 (belt is labelled SSW) but the measurements indicate the dress may fit a 6 - 8 in today's Australian sizing but please check the approximate measurements below to decide for yourself:  

Underarm to underarm lying flat across the front unstretched 47cm 

Waistline lying flat across the front unstretched 35cm 

Length 90cm

Outer sleeve length 60cm.

(Generic label states bust 34 inches, waist 26 inches and hips 36 inches).
