8-Track Cartridge 'Lord Buckley, A Most Immaculately Hip Aristocrat'

From the Californian hip/jive poet and comic Lord Buckley.

This cartridge is absolutely sealed and unopened - it's extremely rare to find this recording on this format in this condition.  Reprise Records 8RM-6389.

Richard Myrle Buckley (1906-1960), who died some ten years before this recording was released, was an American stage performer and recording artist, who in the 1940s and 1950s created his 'Lord Buckley' character, described by the The New York Times as 'an unlikely persona ... part English royalty, part Dizzy Gillespie'. He was a great influence upon, amongst others, the Beat Generation, Dizzy Gillespie, Lenny Bruce, Ken Kesey, George Harrison, Tom Waits, Frank Zappa, Robin Williams, and Bob Dylan - who described him as 'the hipster bepop preacher who defied all labels'.
